Mason

Mason is an experimental horror film written and directed by Sharena Sigmon. It follow a Black pregnant woman who suffers from medical complications and vicious hallucinations, fearing the visions will predict her untimely demise and that of her unborn baby. At the film’s core, it’s about the increased Black maternal mortality rate. Using The film was also official selection for the Chicago Horror Film Festival where it won Best Chicago Director and Best Actress. It is also an official selection for the Horror Underground Film and Screenplay Festival.
